Come Join Us!

 Hartsville Library

PreSchool Story Time is held every Tuesday at 10 am 

Join Ms. Lori for stories, songs and a small craft.

Each program lasts about 45 minutes and has a central theme.  

BRAIN BOOSTERS is held Fridays at 10 am 

Join Mrs. Lori for a rotating fun, educational program on Library/Books, Science,Technology, Engineering, artists and poetry. Make It, Take It, STEM it, Speak it topics will rotate weekly.

On the First and Third Tuesdays of each month we show a family appropriate movie starting at 4 PM in our community meeting room.

Word of the Week


Grimdark  (noun) A term used for a speculative genre of fiction that utilizes bleakly dystopian themes of violence, amorality, and despair as part of the story.  A genre of fantasy fiction that portrays amoral or morally ambiguous characters engaged in violent struggles in dystopian environments.  Grimdark tales may be found at the Library!
