Grimdark  (noun) A term used for a speculative genre of fiction that utilizes bleakly dystopian themes of violence, amorality, and despair as part of the story.  A genre of fantasy fiction that portrays amoral or morally ambiguous characters engaged in violent struggles in dystopian environments.  Grimdark tales may be found at the Library!
